Environmental Responsibility

We are focused on reducing our carbon footprint with a number of initiatives currently underway. These include projects such as lighting changes to more efficient LED products, the installation of solar power generation systems at selected sites, the move to more fuel efficient vehicles, improved waste management and where possible, introducing recycled products. We also purchase carbon credits to offset our carbon footprint produced from our vehicle usage and air travel. Since the program’s inception, HCA has offset 23,752 tonnes of CO2 through reforestation and windfarm projects.

All of these initiatives contribute to ensure we leave the world a better place for future generations.
