Road Pro Paves The Way
The 326D leads the way on major road re-surfacing projects
Road Pro Bobcats is owned and operated by Brad Nation, an asphalt supervisor experienced in all aspects of road profiling and paving. The company specialises in the preparation of roads for asphalt re-surfacing ranging from major project works to minor keyways.
The John Deere 326D is boosting productivity on the most challenging projects to ensure less time is spent on preparation and more time laying asphalt.
Utilising the latest model equipment with a range of spares onsite including tyres, hydraulic hoses and sundries, the recent delivery of a John Deere 326D skid steer has seen an impressive addition to Road Pro’s existing fleet. According to Brad, “When evaluating the features and capabilities of the 326D, it was clear that John Deere had the competition covered.” The innovative features of the D Series such as the Electrohydraulic Performance Package offer operators the ability to customise machine operation and responsiveness.
“A key feature for me was the creeper mode, which decreases ground speed in increments of 10% while maintaining maximum hydraulic flow for hydraulic-thirsty attachments such as cold planers,” said Brad. “Having this sort of control will ensure I can deliver the most precise service to the industry.”
When Road Pro was choosing the right machine for the job, it was the initial customer service and support from Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia that caught Brad’s attention.
“Rob Zadel at Hitachi was constantly working with me to ensure the right machine was selected to suit the specific requirements of my business,” said Brad. “There has not been anything too difficult for Rob and the team at Hitachi, which has given me the confidence required as an owner operator of a new business.”
